New Assyrian literary journal to be published: ?Ashlay Nissaba

Enheduanna Publishing house (??? ???? ??????????) annouce their intention to publish a quartely journal specialising in our modern literature (Both East & West dialects, + Classical Syriac).
The first issue is announced to be published on Assyrian New Year's eve 2016.

That is amazing, thanks for sharing. And that board has some great heavyweights. I just hope this will be an on-going project and not something that will stop after a few months or years like is the case for so many other Assyrian projects (newspapers, TV stations, websites etc.)

By the way, it is sad that we lost one of Assyrian's greatest literature figures in Younan Hozaya just a few weeks ago.

It would be nice if he was part of this board. As such, it would be such a great gesture if they can dedicate the first issue to the late Younan Hozaya.

Just wanted to say that I have ordered and received it a few days ago.
The journal has ton of articles to read in Classical Syriac, Modern Eastern (Sureyt madenkhaya) and Modern Western (Sureyt Ma'erboyo).
The journal is composed of articles/papers/stories/poems submitted by individuals from all over the world: Australia, USA, Netherlands, London, Tur'Abdin, Iran, Alqush, Nohadra, etc.
It contains also poems of Na'um Faiq in Classical Syriac and translated in Modern Eastern.
The sheets and cover are solid/robust and of good quality.
I've included also some picture of it.
And above all, it just feels good to read in our language.

Oh, like in the Journal ? as I said in my previous post it contains articles/papers/stories/poems. The journal is about 175 pages.
In the pictures that I posted you have the titles & the authors of every article of the journal.
And apart from the journal, they also sell this but I don't know much.
