HOLIDAY BUH-ZAAR IN CHICAGO-NEED SUGGESTIONS

Hello my peeps,

I am thinking of doing a holiday buh-zaar (aka, sale) in Chicago before Christmas. I would like to tie it into a cool event or even rent out a lounge. I wanted to hear opinions from Assyrians in Chi-town on where would a great location be to host such a sale for Assyrian Heritage Tees. I live in NYC and have my inventory in Chicago, so it would be nice to connect to the community this holiday season.

I would like to hear feedback on great spots where Assyrians will go if I have the sale and if I should tie it with an event, host a cocktail party, etc. I know a sale on its own will not draw crowds to be feasible at all.

I appreciate your help!!!!

Basima/Basimta/Tawdi/THANKS!,

Christine

Usually around this time the churches host bazaars. Here in central Cali (sorry don't know how its done in Chicago) we normally have it in our church basement/hall and Ladies' Auxiliary sells their baked goods and other merchandise.  Maybe you can talk them into letting you set up a table/booth as well? Or maybe you can sell some to the church at a discounted price for them to resale year round?  In fact if you are interested in the latter, send me a pm.  As I said I'm not in the Chicago area, but maybe we can get something going here in central California.

That sounds great.  I just moved back to NYC from LA. I was traveling extensively up north all summer and recently for the Taste of the Mediterranean. Can you please email me your contact info at info@assyrianheritage.com?? Thanks for your help!! :)
