Well, there are people who WANT that there is a difference, and they are often not ready to recognize that they want that. They are looking for anything which they can call "difference", so the difference exists in their imagination.
These people may have prejudices, or grew up with prejudices towards "the others". Such guys create e.g. topics like "Chaldean vs. Assyrian dialect" or so. So they should try to analyze their thoughts/opinions/views and see them in the context of an education which goes in the necessary depth and width to solve their own personal problems with this topic.
