3rd Place: Germany vs. Uruguay

I don't care who wins (actually, I want South America to always win) but what I really don't want to see, as much as I like the guy, for Klose not to score. You guys should know why. I just don't want to see that happening. I hope Uruguay keep their defense tight.

Haha, I want Klose to beat Ronaldo's record, and I was hoping for Germany to win the worldcup. But now that they didn't qualify for the final, I hope Netherlands defeats Spain.

I think the World Cup is big enough to deserve a third place match. But things like Confederation Cup, Euro Cup (doesn't have one I believe) shouldn't have one because you don't have enough teams to need one.

Useless game. Hate 3rd place play offs!
Agree, if you lose this game then it's like more salt on the wound.  Unnecessary game, but we all know why it's there : $$$.

Where did this come from? some good news for all you Ronaldo fans, who wish his record to stay untouched by Klose.

ERASMIA, South Africa (AP)?Germany striker Miroslav Klose could miss the third-place match against Uruguay because of injury, and with it lose a chance to take over as top scorer in World Cup history.

Assistant coach Hansi Flick says Klose has a back injury and could miss Saturday?s game in Port Elizabeth.

Klose needs one goal to match Ronaldo?s record of 15 for Brazil.

After Germany?s 1-0 loss to Spain in Wednesday?s semifinal, Klose said he was eager to play and mentioned no injury.

Flick says midfielders Sami Khedira and Mesut Oezil also have some problems, but declined to give details.
